The Newtown and Chilwell Free Kindergarten was founded in 1919 and operated from the Methodist Church in Noble Street. It moved to the present building at 25-35 Bond Street (Newtown) in July 1925. Many additions and improvements have been made and the Kindergarten, now named ‘Bond Street’ has a priority to actively exemplify sustainability practices.
Our beautiful garden playgrounds are maintained with water from tanks and our power comes from the solar panels on our roof.
We have current practices and a history entitling us to a claim of being – ‘Players in Excellence since 1925’.
